Event-driven market data pipeline built twice, in Spring Boot and Quarkus, both writing the same topics so their behaviour can be compared side by side. Covers the whole path: ingestion, schema-validated normalization, poison-pill handling with dead-letter and retry topics, transactional producers for exactly-once semantics, and windowed analytics (VWAP, volatility) in a state store. Ships five reproducible failure lessons: a broker down, a poison pill reaching the DLT, a consumer rebalance, an exactly-once race, and a dead stream engine behind a live process — each measuring what actually happens instead of asserting it. Includes a read-only Angular dashboard that explains the pipeline visually: seven Prometheus panels, live ticks and alerts over WebSocket, and lag, offsets and partition health over a deliberately closed metrics catalog, so the page observes and explains rather than querying freely.
